Between the technical detail and the leadership team.
I am an IT engineer. I began with more than seven years in development and business analysis, in large organisations and regulated environments. For nearly twenty years I have worked as an independent consultant, with organisations of every size. That path joins technical depth, an understanding of the business and the practice of giving advice.
Background
A cross-cutting view,built in the work itself
My path runs through development, business analysis, infrastructure, the web, advice and the steering of projects. A large part of the work has always been conversation with clients: understanding what they need, sorting out difficulties and keeping the service going.
I have worked in large companies, public administrations and consultancies, and also with municipalities, medical practices and one-person businesses. Those settings taught me to fit recommendations to the means, the constraints and the way each organisation actually works.
This experience lets me connect a business need, a technical choice and its operational consequences.
The practice
Technical depth, kept current
I like to understand how systems work, to explore what they can do and to look at their limits. I still write code, experiment and keep learning. Certifications complement that practice.
Today, my work concentrates on Microsoft 365, identities, information protection, uses of AI and the governance that goes with them.
That technical depth lets me talk directly with your specialists and your suppliers, question their proposals and explain the implications to the people who have to decide.

Independence
Independent advice, on the client side
My advice is independent of the sale of solutions. I can recommend an investment, a change to what you already have, or stopping an initiative, when what we have looked at justifies it.
I also offer room to test an analysis, explore several options or go deeper into an IT subject. An outside view lets me ask the questions, and raise the reservations, that the decision needs.
